October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It’s an important opportunity to raise awareness, start conversations and show support for everyone affected by breast cancer.
But breast cancer isn’t one experience.
For people living with metastatic breast cancer, there is no end to treatment and no traditional survivor narrative. It is an incurable disease that can bring ongoing uncertainty into every part of life, from relationships and family to work, treatment and plans for the future.

That’s why specialist psychosocial support matters.
At the Advanced Breast Cancer Group, we provide a safe and understanding space where people living with metastatic breast cancer can connect with others who understand, access specialist support and talk openly about the realities of living with the disease.
Supporting ABCG is simple
There are three simple ways to show your support this October. Choose the one that works for you and make your donation directly through our website.

DONATE: Make a donation
Support ABCG directly by making a one-off donation through our website. Every donation helps us continue providing specialist psychosocial support to people living with metastatic breast cancer.

FUNDRAISE: Bring people together
Turn something simple into an opportunity to support ABCG. Host a morning tea at home or work, organise a get-together with friends, take on a personal challenge or come up with an idea of your own.
Invite people to support you by making a donation, then donate the funds you raise directly to ABCG through our campaign page.

CHAMPION: Get your workplace involved
Help bring ABCG’s Annual Appeal into your workplace. Your organisation could make a donation, match donations made by employees, share the appeal with staff or encourage your team to fundraise together.
It’s a simple way to help more people learn about metastatic breast cancer while supporting the people living with it.
Need a little help getting started?
We’ve put together a simple Supporter Information Sheet with more information about the Annual Appeal and ideas for ways you, your friends, family or workplace can support ABCG this October.
