On the 22nd of April 2017 saw Advanced Breast Cancer Group hold the regular Workshop for Women, Partners, Families and Friends. The workshop was a great success with many members and their family attending.
The day featured Dr Catherine Shannon, who is the Senior Medical Oncologist at the Mater Cancer Care Centre. Dr Catherine Shannon gave a brief talk, and answered questions about the disease and treatment. This was followed by a Q&A with Sophie Wiggans, Social Worker in Cancer Care Services at The Royal Brisbane Women’s and Childrens Hospital..
After lunch was a Creative session with Bernard Houston and Mircha Mangiacotti.
