We held our 7th Group Workshop and Get Together on Saturday 22 March in Brisbane and it was a great day shared with 10 women from the group and their partners and family members. Jackie Trad, the Member for South Brisbane attended morning tea to meet the women.
The workshop included breast surgeon Dr Chris Pyke and Dr Russell Richards, Palliative Care, St Vincent’s Hospital.
The afternoon saw Bernard Houston conduct a creative session based on the sharing of hobbies, interests or other creative endeavours. Everyone was asked to bring something to represent this.
