On Saturday the 27th of April saw Advanced Breast Cancer Group hold the regular Workshop for Women, Partners, Families and Friends. The workshop was a great success with many members and their family attending.
The workshop included Oncologist Dr David Grimes answering questions about oncology and Dietician Cameron McDonald answering questions regarding nutrition and exercise. Their contributions to the workshop were greatly appreciated with a lot of useful information being provided by both David and Cameron.
The afternoon saw Bernard Houston conduct a creative session based on the sharing of hobbies, interests or other creative endeavours. Everyone was asked to bring something to represent this, which were then placed on the centre piece “Tree of Memories” as seen in the photos below.
